What We Collect

When you register, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password (or, if you sign in with Google, your Google account email and name). When you build your profile, you may choose to add a photo, resume, bio, work history, location (city/state/ZIP), and contact details.

Location Data

City/state/ZIP you provide is converted to approximate coordinates (via OpenStreetMap's free geocoding service) so the site can power location-radius search. We do not track your real-time location.

Public Visibility

Your profile, roles, work history, gallery, and any resources or job postings you submit are publicly visible on the site. Your email and phone number are only shown publicly if you turn on that visibility toggle in Account Settings.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate the directory: displaying your profile, powering search, sending account emails (verification, password reset), and reviewing reported content.

Third-Party Services

We use OpenStreetMap Nominatim for geocoding, Google for optional "Sign in with Google," and Google reCAPTCHA for spam prevention on certain forms. These services may receive limited data (e.g. your location query, or your Google profile info if you choose that sign-in method) as part of normal operation.

Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings. This permanently removes your profile, uploaded files, roles, work history, resources, and job postings from our systems.
